[About]
For most of my career I was taught to hold on to tools. Design in Figma, push pixels in Photoshop, then arm-wrestle a developer to get the patterns I’d drawn to actually work. It usually ended in compromise, because of time, budget, or whatever stack the developer believed in. On the marketing side it came down to churning out creatives in bulk. Honest work, but assembly-line work.

I’mnotloyaltoanytoolormethod.Itackleaproblemwiththesolutioninsight,notwithwhateverhappenstobeinmyowntoolbox.
[Personal]
When I’m not behind a screen, you’ll find me on a terrace in Antwerp with a cold boereke, or out on the water. I’m a kiter and a sailor, a little obsessed with wind, salt water and the adrenaline that comes with both.
I’m also a bit of an overthinker, which drives me mad in private but turns out to be handy when complex problems need to become thoughtful solutions.
